Use Your Stash Blog Hop--Ribbon Destash

It's time for our monthly "Use Your Stash Blog Hop" where we share what we made using older product.  The theme for this month's event is "Ribbon Destash".  If you are coming from Michelle Loncar's blog you are on the right track.  (If you get lost along the way you can stop at Wendy Kessler's blog for the complete list of participants).

My woven ribbon card features retired Close to My Heart grosgrain ribbon in Cranberry, Dutch Blue and White Daisy. The card is 6.5" wide and 5" high. The ribbon panel was made by taping strips of Dutch Blue ribbon to the back side of a piece of chipboard.  Then strips of Cranberry and White Daisy ribbon were woven through and also taped to the back.

     Artiste cartridge
     Black CS
     White Daisy CS
     Dutch Blue CS (retired)
     Holiday Tags stamp
     Memento Black Ink
     Dutch Blue Ink (retired)

Other products
     Red foil CS by Craftsmith
     Recollections red liner tape
     Black pearls (source unknown)

I'm also entering this card into the Seize the Birthday challenge and Friday Mashup  Birthday Theme.

Now head on over to Nicole Schuette's blog to check out what she has to inspire you.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!
:) Marie

Wow Marie, what a beautiful card! The ribbon layer makes me think of a cozy, cuddly quilt. Great job on the challenge.
