There's another fabulous sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches this week and it inspired me to make a birthday card for a golfing friend.

Foiled Fourth of July Card for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #279

Welcome back to another Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog post!  This fortnight our theme is "Patriotic".  This week we are being sponsored by Bugaboo stamps. To be eligible to win 7 digital stamps from Bugaboo all you have to do is be sure to use one Cricut cut.  The red border around the card is red foil curling ribbon from my stash.  The light blue sprayed background was created with Summer Sky Fireworks glitter spray by Imagine Works.

My 4th of July card is very sparkly although it may not have photographed that way.  I used the Summer Celebrations cartridge and Heidi Minc toner paper and foils for the sparklers and sentiment.  The white star is Recollections Antique Gold Shimmer cardstock.

The inspiration for my card layout came from Case This Sketch #177 challenge.
