Golf Themed Father's Day Card with Try a Sketch on Tuesday #697

I really enjoyed creating with Try a Sketch on Tuesday #697 earlier this week so I used it to make a second card using a golf themed card for my stepson. (My first card entry can be found here). The stripes were cut from a Recollections paper called Green Grass and the golf ball was cut from a Frances Meyer scrapbook paper.  The sentiment is from "Say it in Style" stamp set from Close to my Heart.

Here is the wonderful sketch that inspired my card layout:

I’m also entering this card into the following challenges:

      The Male Room #211--Outdoors

The Paper Funday June--AG with option of stripes or dots

Hearts Quest Celebration of Love #30--Masculine

Daisy Chain Challenge #108--Not a Square

      Sparkles Forum Challenge--Masculine

Crafty Calendar Challenge--All About Men or Boys

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Holographic Striped Father's Day Card with Try a Sketch on Tuesday #697

There is an interesting sketch over at Try a Sketch on Tuesday that appealed to me so I used it to make a Father's Day card.  The papers are over 20 years old from the Close to my Heart True Teal Background and Texture Papers and Cardstock.  The Circle with Stars die cut was trimmed to fit on the circle.  The sentiment is from another very old product called "Say it in Style" stamp set also from Close to my Heart.

Congratulations Card with Freshly Made Sketch #738

A very special young lady just found out she was accepted into Physician's Assistant school so I made her this fun froggy card to commemorate the achievement. I chose Freshly Made Sketch #738 which features varied size thin strips behind a square. The jubilant frog and congratulatory greeting is from Kokarosa's Happy Cartoon Frog set.

This second photo shows how shimmery the green cardstock is along with the shiny black embossing on the frog and sentiment.
