Something Fierce Paper With Freshly Made Sketch #380

When I saw this week's Freshly Made Sketch I immediately thought of using the Something Fierce patterned paper as the focal point for the grid pattern element of the sketch.  I also used the Years of Sweetness stamp set, Bluebird card stock and Bluebird Ink.

Here is the fabulous Freshly Made Sketch that inspired my card layout:

March Joyful Stars Blog Hop with Feeling Sketchy #212

Welcome back to another Joyful Stars Blog Hop! We are a group of Close to My Heart consultants who share something each month on the 9th and at 9PM EST. If you are coming from Andrea Sherman's blog you are on the right track. (The complete lineup is on Joyce's blog in case you get lost.) Have fun being inspired!

How do you like this big bold sentiment on my card?  This fortnight's Feeling Sketchy challenge sketch is perfect for showcasing it.

From bottom layer up my card elements are:  Carolina card stock, Something Fierce patterned paper, Clover inked White Daisy strip, Something Fierce patterned paper,White Daisy card stock, Bluebird Ink, Years of Sweetness stamp, Clover Ink for smaller sentiment from same stamp set.

Here is the fabulous Feeling Sketchy sketch that inspired my card layout:

Here is another card I made with Something Fierce papers following a Try Stampin' on Tuesday #398 sketch using aster flower cuts from Close to My Heart Flower Market cartridge.  The flowers were cut from Raspberry, Ballerina and Lemon Card stock.  The Carolina stitched circles were cut with Stitched Circles Thinlit Dies.   Pretty Bluebird Card stock was used for the strips and background.  The sentiment is from Wordfetti.

I'm also entering these cards into the following challenges:
     Fun Friday--Patterned Paper
Seize the Birthday--Make Us Laugh optional

Now it's time to head over to Joyce Hauck's blog --I'm sure you'll be inspired by what she has to share.
