Peacock Embellished Birthday Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #505

Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features several layers, a sentiment and an embellishment.  I used an old Ellentina peacock die with Capri Glitter Paper and a light blue shimmer paper as my embellishment.  The Flourished Greetings stamp was stamped in Mermaid Lagoon and then clear embossed.  The balloon background is from Celebrating You Paper and the solid paper is Sapphire.

Here is our fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout and for you to try.  Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, January 2 and you can link up your project here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love. Here is the fantastic sketch we have for you to try this week. Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, November 21 and you can link up your project here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love.

Freshly Made Sketch #511

I'm combining some older paper (SU Beyond the Garden) and newer papers (Close to My Heart Capri Card Stock and Capri Glitter Paper) to create a card with Freshly Made Sketch #511. The rectangles were cut with Stitched Rectangle Frames.  The greeting is from Inkadinkadoo with Mermaid Lagoon Ink and the dragonfly accent is from CTMH For My Beautiful Friend.

Here is the fabulous Freshly Made Sketch that inspired my card layout:

When I cut the Rectangle Frames I had two extra pieces (the reverse of what is in the top card) so I made an extra card adding CTMH Thanks Thin Cut Die.

I'm also entering these cards into the following challenges:

Cut It Up Challenge #238--Thanks or Thanksgiving

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday--Thanks or Thanksgiving

Through the Craft Room Door--Anything Goes
