Color Dare #480 Meets CAS Colours and Sketches #454

It has been quite awhile since I've entered a Color Dare challenge and today is the day to return.  Their challenge is a Triple Play using Close to My Heart Colors Wisteria, Wild Berry and Capri.  I've combined it with the sketch from CAS Coulours and Sketches #454. I enjoyed playing with the colors so I made 2 cards. The outer edges of the sentiment frames were colored with a Capri Shimmer Brush or a Wild Berry Shimmer Brush.  The Stitched Rectangle  Frame Thin Cut Dies created the borders of both cards.  The sentiment is from a retired Close to my Heart set called "True Love".

Which one do you like better?

Here is the Color Dare graphic that inspired my color choices:

I’m also entering this card into the following challenges:

Stamping Sensations--Stamped Image Plus a Die

    CAS on Friday #223--Hexagon

    Daring Cardmakers--In the Frame

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Every Little Thing Sympathy Card with Freshly Made Sketch #416

Happy New Year!
Pretty patterned paper makes card making so quick!  I needed to make Sympathy cards so I pulled out one of my favorite paper packs--Every Little Thing (recently retired from Close to My Heart but still available here).

The greeting is from Card Captions (January 2019 Close to My Heart Stamp of the Month) and the coordinating background card stock is Wisteria.

Here is the fabulous Freshly Made Sketch that inspired my card layout:

Every Little Thing Birthday Card With Multi Square Windows Thin Cuts

The floral patterned paper from Every Little Thing paper from Close to My Heart is so pretty!  I paired it with the Multi Square Windows Thin Cut Dies in Wisteria Card Stock layered over Evergreen Card Stock.  The Birthday sentiment from Sentiments from Melissa Esplin was stamped in Evergreen Ink and Versamark Ink and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder.  I cut the floral paper with the window die so I could insert the pieces into the windows (I'll have a floral grid to use later on.)

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:
     Craft Rocket Challenge #65--Birthday
     Papercraft Challenges #50--Birthday
Seize the Birthday--Option of off the edge
Crafty Hazelnuts Patterned Paper Challenge--Anything Goes
     Stinkin' Inkers--Die-lirius and Punchy
Happy Little Stampers--Anything Goes With Dies

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

My card this month features Every Little Thing paper, small butterfly from Sunflower Sympathy, Wisteria and Evergreen Card Stocks and Gold Embossing Powder.

My card was inspired by Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #337 combined with the Color My Heart Color Dare #363 Tic Tac Toe Board (left top diagonal--Wisteria, Gold, Evergreen)
