Atlantic Hearts Sketch #379 with Happiest Place Paper

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our project features stripes, a focal element and a sentiment banner.  Close to my Heart has a fabulous new paper with holographic stripes called Happiest Place that I wanted to try out with my card.  The shell shapes were fussy cut from Seas the Day paper and the Stitched Bracket Frame was cut from Foil paper.

This photo was taken from a different angle so you can see the sparkly paper better.

Here is the wonderful sketch we have for you to try this week:

Fusion Card Challenge--Floral Cupcakes

When I saw the fabulous sketch at Fusion Card Challenge I immediately thought about using my Close to my Heart Multi Square Windows Thin Cut Die.  Then I remembered that I had floral paper that pretty closely matched the colors in the floral cupcake graphic so I just had to make a couple of cards.

The patterned paper is from "Hello Lovely" which was retired fro CTMH several years ago.  The greeting is from "Shared Happiness" and it was stamped over a strip of Whimsy Fundamentals paper.  The window grid was cut from retired Sea Glass paper.

My second card uses the flip side of the Hello Lovely patterned paper, Sorbet patterned Card Stock from Whimsy Fundamentals (CTMH 2017) and a greeting from "Get Well Soon".

Which card do you like better?

Here is the wonderful Fusion Card Challenge graphic that inspired my cards:

This week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch features a central focal image with a mat over paper that is also matted with a sentiment and accents.  Our challenge ends Sunday evening, July 19.  We hope you can play along by entering your creation here.

I took out a golfer's stamp from SU Clubhouse set and used it over several different golf themed papers.  The card size is 5" x 6.5" to accommodate the image size. This first card uses a "Golf" paper from an unnamed source.

Garden Tags with TGIF Sketch Challenge #272

When I saw this week's TGIF challenge I immediately thought of using last month's Close to my Heart's Stamp of the Month called Garden Tags.  I colored them with Toffee, Peach, Black and Wisteria Shimmer Brushes and layered the tags over retired Sweet Girl paper and Black Card Stock.  The stamped image is called Heartfelt Birthday Wish--an oldie but goodie CTMH stamp.

Here is the fabulous TGIF sketch that inspired my card layout:

Close to my Heart has brought pack a lovely old paper pack called Brushed and a pair of stamp sets to coordinate with them.  (These are available for a limited time only.)  I made a couple of cards using different sketches with Brushed Paper and Mason Jar Bouquet with Pixie and Candy Apple Card Stocks.

The above two cards were based on this week's Freshly Made Sketch:

This next card uses elements from the July Stamp of the Month called "For My Beautiful Friend" and the flower from a "Budding Friendship".

The above card was based on Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch:

I'm also entering the above card into
