Thank You Card with Paper Players Sketch #443

Today's post brings a colorful card using the current Paper Players Sketch.  The plaid panel features Close to My Heart Into the Wild paper.  The flower stamps are from the recently retired You Got This Cardmaking workshop.  As I'm trying to use up my stash the most of the products used are retired Close to My Heart.

The background is Honey cardstock .  The flowers were stamped in Espresso Ink on Autumn Terracotta cardstock.  Then I tapped the flowers on to Versamark Ink and used Polysparkle Tinsel clear embossing powder to give it the shimmer effect.  The sentiment is from A Thousand Thanks.

Here is the fabulous Paper Players sketch that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
        The Paper Shelter--Flower Power
        The Crafty Addicts--Anything Goes
        Watercooler Wednesday--Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Color Dare #343 Meets Sketch Saturday #565

There is a Love of Color challenge at Color My Heart Color Dare.  The challenge is to use at least 3 colors from the 6 listed.  I used Sugarplum patterned paper from Feels Like Home paper (recently retired from Close to My Heart), Sage Card Stock, Sapphire Card Stock, Sage Ink and Sapphire Ink.  I used a ruler and a Silver Metallic Marker to edge each of the papers and to color in the "eyes" of the Peacock feathers.  The stamps are Elegant Peacock from Close to My Heart.  My card is 5"W by 6.5"L.

Here is the wonderful Love of Color Palette that influenced my color choices.

Color My Heart Color Dare challenges are open for 2 weeks and this one closes tomorrow evening.  Badge awards are given along with a randomly selected participant to receive a monthly prize.

Here is the fabulous Sketch Saturday sketch that inspired my card layout:

Seasons Mix-In for Sunday Stamps Sketch #204

This fortnight's Sunday Stamps Sketch reminded me that I have some small paper doilies in my stash that could be used to complete the challenge.  This card was made with my friend Bev in mind who just had cancer surgery.

The doily was adhered to Smoothie card stock and then the sentiment from Stronger Together stamp set (retired CTMH) was stamped in Sapphire Ink.  The Lagoon patterned paper is from the Celebrate Seasons Mix-In paper set from last Idea Book.  The top left corner was embellished with White Enamel Dots.

Here is the fabulous Sunday Stamps sketch that inspired my card layout:

Zoe Birthday Cards with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #315

Close to My Heart recently brought back their retired paper pack Zoe last month and it is available until the end of May.  I just love the Glacier argyle pattern and am using it once again with these two cards.  (Other cards made with this special paper can be seen here, here and here).Contrasting card stock stripes are Glacier and Peacock.  In the first card the top corner embellishments are Peacock dots from the retired Documented embellishments and the ribbon is White and Gold Ribbon.  The sentiment is from the retired Belated Birthday stamp set and was stamped in Peacock Ink.

The second card uses recently retired So Much Happy sequins and Glacier and White Ribbon.

Which card do you like better?

There is still plenty of time to enter this week's Atlantic Hearts Challenge:
