Hexagon Card with Color My Heart Color Dare #444 Tic Tac Toe Board

The sketch over at Make the Cards #16 was the inspiration for my card layout although I was not able to write this blog post on time to enter the challenge.  My color selection was inspired by Color My Heart Color Dare #444 Tic Tac Toe Board (Diagonal Row: Peach, Rose Gold and Sapphire with Ballerina and Blue Belle as well).

Here is another view that shows up the Rose Gold paper (Everything is Rosy, retired SU):

     Peach Card Stock
     Sapphire Card Stock

     You Are Enough paper
Card Captions sentiment (January 2019 Stamp of the Month)
     Sapphire Ink

Pixie Sparkles Stitched Flowers with The Paper Players Sketch #542

This is my first attempt at using a new (to me) product called Pixie Sparkles.  They are somewhat like Brushos and Color Bursts powders but they are also shimmery and have some texture to them.

Here is another view so you can see how sparkly the flower is:

I dropped some Teal Marine and Fuchsia Rose powders onto wet cardstock to create a color panel from which I cut out out the Stitched Flower Thin Cut Dies (retired Close to my Heart).  The background frame is Tropical Blue along with the patterned paper (retired Close to my Heart).  The contrasting strip and ink is Raspberry (retired Close to my Heart).  I chose these papers as they seemed to be a good match to the colors in the flower diecut.  The stamp sentiment is from Sending You Hugs Cardmaking Workshop available until 5/31.

This is the fabulous The Paper Players Sketch that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:                              Seize the Birthday--Topping Option--Make it a Bouquet                      AAA Birthday--Happy Birthday                                                            Crafting Happiness Challenge--Color It                                                Make My Monday #149--Floral Birthday                                            Dragonfly Dreams--Add Some Sparkle                                                Crafters Cafe #266--Feminine

Pregnancy Congratulations Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #422

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week's sketch has a couple of rectangular elements, sentiment and embellishment.  There are so many ways to interpret this and we are looking forward to what you can share with us here.

My card was made for a young couple who is expecting their first child who will be female thus the color choice.  I used older Close to my Heart products as I have a lot of these products on hand.   The heart patterned paper is from Adventure Fundamentals in 2017 with Ballerina card stock as the background panel.  The embellishment was created with Stitched Heart Thin Cut Dies cut from Sapphire card stock.  The greeting is from "It's the Little Things" stamped in Sapphire Ink and Versamark Ink and embossed with Polysparkle Tinsel embossing powders.  Stitched Rectangle Frames were used to cut the center panel.

Here is the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge graphic that inspired my card layout.  Our chard challenge is open until Sunday evening May 30 and you can link up your creation here.  We look forward to visiting your blog and leaving some bloggy love comments.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:                             Crafters Cafe Challenge #266--Feminine                                             Creations in Pink #34--Anything Goes Mainly in Pink                         Girlz Creative Cards #13--Pink                                                             Pink Gem Challenge--Anything Goes

Graduation season is here thus I've made two very similar feminine cards based on Less is More Sketch #26.  I rotated the sketch 90 degrees and used papers from You Are Enough and my very favorite Graduation stamps from the late 1990's called "Congratulations Graduate" from Close to My Heart. The first card has Sangria Embossing Powder and the second card has Black Tinsel Embossing Powder.

Here is the fabulous Less is More sketch that inspired my card layout:

Make My Monday Sympathy Card with Sunburst Background Thin Cut Die

Here is a really quick card I made using a new Close to My Heart Thin Cut Die (Sunburst Background) and pretty patterned paper (Brushed). I'm submitting it to Make My Monday #148 Sympathy Theme.

The Sympathy greeting is from Sunflower Sympathy and the oval cut was Sweet Leaf Card Stock.  This is what the card looked like without the oval sentiment.
