Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post! This week our sketch features 5 nested elements along the right edge with a 2 part sentiment with 3 small embellishments. I didn't have scalloped circle dies (and didn't want to pull out my cricut) so I used nesting hexagon dies with a Craft Smith paper pad called "Ocean Blues". A holographic foil was used as the shadow for the birthday script. The birthday die cut and shadow are from Honey Bee and the stamped "Happy" is retired Close to my Heart Card Captions.
This second card uses the lightest color as background instead of white. Which card do you like better?
Here
is our fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout and for you to try.
Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, December 4 and you can link up
your project here. We look
forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love. Please
stop by our blog on Wednesday to see what the rest of the talented Design Team
has to inspire you.
I’m
also entering this card into the following challenges:
Dream Valley Challenge #283--Lots of Layers
AAA Birthday #43--Monochrome
Sweet Stampin' Challenge--Birthday
Seize the Birthday #252--Option--Case a designer
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week filled
with fun and creativity!
:) Marie

Love your cards, the one with the light color background is my favorite. I like the holographic background on the birthday sentiment. Thanks for sharing with us at Seize the Birthday.
Hi Marie, oh wow those are fabulous Clean and Simple cards. I love that layout!! To my eye the white background makes your coloured layers stand out more, but they are both fabulous!
Thanks for joining in with us at Sweet Stampin' this fortnight, Sarah - DT.
That's such a stylish way to use shades of one colour. Love it! Thanks for playing at AAA Birthday, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Stay safe and keep crafting!
