Artfully Sent Card for Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #250 "Celebrate Mom"

Here is another Mother's Day card made with the Artfully Sent cricut cartridge.  I'm entering this into Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #250--Celebrate Mom

Close to My Heart products used:
      Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge
      Goldrush CS
     White Daisy CS
     Pixie CS
     Hollyhock CS
     Canary CS
     Happy to Be Friends stamp
     Chocolate ink
     Bronze Shimmer Trim
     Brown and Tan Glitter paper

First I cut the pocket card from page 17 in the Artfully Sent cricut booklet in the 5 cardstock colors and then placed the assorted flowers into the negative spaces of the Goldrush CS.  I taped them on the back to secure them before attaching it to a white folded card.  I used various sized hole punches to cut the glittery flower centers.  (I know I could have used the Cricut to do it but it I was trying to use up small remnants of my glitter papers so as not to waste anything.)

Here is another version of the same card design that I posted 2 weeks ago:

Which do you like better?

I'm also entering this card into the Heart2Heart Challenge--Anything Goes.

Triple Time Stamping With an Embossing Folder for AHSC #104

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge blog post!  This week we have a fun technique called "Triple Time Stamping" for you to try with our sketch.  Just for fun I used a Darice embossing folder to do my stamping with.

First I cut out 3 pieces of White Daisy cardstock and temporarily glued them together.  Then I inked up the Darice Bold Daisy embossing folder with Pacifica Ink and spritzed it with water.  After placing the paper stack onto the inked side of the folder I closed the folder and just kept rubbing it with my fingers to transfer the ink.  After that I detached the three pieces of cardstock and matted each piece with Canary cardstock.  I used a sponge dauber and Canary ink to color the flower centers.

Close to My Heart products used:
     White Daisy CS
     Canary CS
     Pacifica CS
     Pacifica Ink
     Canary Ink
     Seaside Greetings sentiment
     Sponge Dauber

Other products
     Darice Bold Daisy embossing folder

Splitcoast Stampers has a great tutorial for this technique here.  Please stop by the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog to be inspired by the fabulous Design Team's artwork.

Artfully Sent Inlaid Card for Color Dare #138--Smoothie, Sunset, Canary, Juniper, Pear and White Daisy

Welcome back to another Color My Heart Color Dare challenge blog post!  This week we are inviting you to combine the following colors:  Smoothie, Sunset, Canary, Juniper, Pear and White Daisy.

My strategy for combining so many different colors is to use a lot of white space.  I made this card using the Artfully Sent cartridge.  I cut the pocket card on page 17 from 4 of the six challenge colors and then pieced them together so they lay flat.  The Pear flower centers were cut with various sized hole punches.  The greeting is from the Happy to Be Friends stamp set in Juniper ink.  Juniper Waxy Flax was wound around the card front to accentuate the greeting.

Please visit the Color My Heart Color Dare blog to check out what my fellow Design Team members have made to inspire you.  Hope you can take the challenge with us this week!
