Feather Card with Less is More Sketch #430--Case the Designer

Feathers are a fun element in card making and I just received a new "Feather Pleasure" set from Local King Rubber Stamps.  I colored the stamp with Nuvo Glitter Markers and then pressed it onto light blue card stock.  The set came with matching dies so I traced the outline of the die onto the turquoise card stock and cut it out.

The patterned paper is from a 6"x 6" Bright Stack.  The Sapphire Card Stock was cut with Fancy Borders Thin Cut Dies.  An old punch was used on Silver Glitter paper to extend behind the focal feather.  The feather was popped up with 3D Foam Dots.

Here is the fabulous card that I "Cas'd" from Sharon at Less is More:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
     Craft Rocket Challenge--Add Sparkle
     Cute Card Thursday--Stamping
     Simon Says Stamp--Layer it
The Sisterhood of Crafters--Lots of Layers

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Fall Birthday Card with TGIF Sketch 285

My sister's birthday is today so I made her a card with rich fall colors.  Most of the supplies used are retired Close to My Heart products (Small Leaves paper, Vineyard Berry Card Stock, Honey Card Stock, Autumn Terracotta Ink and Salutation Seals stamp).  The heart border diecuts on Almond Card Stock are from Fancy Borders Thin Cut Dies and the Scalloped Circle Thin Cut Dies are still available.

Here is the wonderful TGIF Sketch #285 that inspired my card layout:

     Shopping Our Stash--Happy Fall Y'All
