Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #341--Christmas

Welcome back to another Fantabulous Cricut Challenge blog post!  As the holidays approach we are inviting you to create a project with a Christmas theme this fortnight.  Our challenge ends Sunday evening, December 23 so you have almost 2 weeks to join in on the fun.

My card was created with a cut called Happy Holidays Christmas Card #M4C5AB (available in Access subscription).  The red patterned paper is from Close to My Heart Grateful Heart paper.  I also cut it from dark green card stock so I could glue the tree on top.  The wording was painted with Twinkling H2O Egyptian Gold which is so shimmery!  The woodgrain patterned background panel is from Recollections Christmas Noel paper from last year.  This card was very easy to assemble.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Aud Sentiments Challenge--Anything Goes with               a sentiment
       Moving Along With the Times--Christmas
Crafty Gals Corner #180--Anything Christmas                    Goes

I made two really quick cards with Grateful Heart papers.  The first card was inspired by the sketch at Case This Sketch #300.  The sentiment panel is Almond with Pomegranate berries and New England Ivy sentiment from the Grateful Heart Cardmaking stamp set.

Case This Sketch #300:

My second card layout was inspired by Feeling Sketchy Challenge #206 and uses the Junior Varsity Alphabet stamp set (Hostess Rewards see page 4 of current catalog.)  Apart from the wonderful Grateful Heart papers I used Sapphire Ink and Silver Sequins to complete this card.

Here is the Feeling Sketchy graphic that I followed to create the above card:
