Atlantic Hearts Sketch #259 With Brushos and Twinkling H2O Paints

The Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week gives you a choice of country maps to feature in your project.  My card was made with my California sister in mind and I may actually send it to her!  I printed the greeting with my laser printer and used my Minc machine to apply gold foil to it.


The background panel was created with Ultramarine and Turquoise Brusho crystals.  The United States map was black embossed and then painted with Twinkling H2O paints (Razzleberry, Tanzanite and Blue Zircon) which have a wonderful shimmer to them which didn't photograph well.  The map panel is framed with Gold Metallic Foil and I drew a line on the map with a Gold Metallic Marker.

Case This Sketch #223 Meets Addicted to CAS One Layer Challenge

This adorable frog sitting on a curved rock is my interpretation of the current Case This Sketch challenge.  The image was painted with Twinkling H2O paints which have a wonderful shine to them.

Shimmering Artbooking Heart Overlay Valentine Card

Don't you just love sparkling, shimmering cards? Well, I do and I had so much fun creating this Valentine's Day card.  The heart overlay is from the Close to My Heart Artbooking cartridge which was then painted with Hot Cinnamon Twinkling H2O Shimmering Mica watercolor paints and adhered to Recollections White Gold Shimmer cardstock.

Freshly Made Sketch #273 With Twinkling H2O's

There's a wonderful sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches this week and I just had to play along.  I created a center panel with Twinkling H2O paints and and 1/4" wide washi tape to mask off the white areas.  The snowflake embellishments were cut from a Darice Snowflake Swirls embossed paper.  The sentiment was inked with Meridian Blue paint and then stamped.

Watercolored Daisies

Here's a Birthday Daisy Card created with a Darice Embossing Folder and some Twinkling H2O watercolor paints.  I just love how shimmery and sparkly these flowers are!


The embossed panel was trimmed to 4.0" x 5.25".  The edges of the card base were painted with Indian Copper Ink to coordinate with the flower centers.

Twinkling H2O Painted Sympathy Card for Freshly Made Sketch #271

This week's sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches really appealed to me so I used it to make a sympathy card.  I had treated myself to some Twinkling H2O watercolor pots at the holidays and had a chance to play with them in making this card.  The shimmer of these paints is so much fun!
