Retrorubber Challenge #65 Meets Nuvo Glitter Markers

Today I'm entering a sketch challenge at Retro Rubber Challenge where they love the use of older stamps.

One of the requirements of the Retrorubber Challenge is to use a stamp that is older than one year so I took out one of my all time favorite background stamps by Close to My Heart called Garden Tapestry.  This stamp is probably 20 or more years old and still a delight to use.  One of the nice things about red rubber stamps is that you can color them with water based markers.  I tried out my latest purchase of Nuvo Glitter Markers and love the sparkle they create without any mess.  I purchased these at Technique Junkies who shipped them right away.

Products used:
Garden Tapestry stamp--retired Close to My Heart
Say it in Style--retired Close to My Heart
     White Daisy CS
     Nuvo Glitter Markers
     Foam Tape

Challenges entered:
      Retro Rubber Sketch Challenge #65
         Simon Says Wednesday Challenge--Anything
            Goes
The House That Stamps Built--Anything Goes
Through the Craft Room Door--Anything Goes
A Bit More Time to Craft--Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

No Worries Meets Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #217

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge blog post!  We have a really interesting sketch for you to try this week.  My card was created with coordinating papers from the Close to My Heart No Worries paper pack.  Don't you love how these papers coordinate nicely with each other?

The Close to My Heart Clear Shimmer Brush was applied to the patterned paper to highlight the trees, waves, diamonds and basket weave.  Here is a close up view so you can see how pretty this paper enhancement really is:

       2" x 2.5"               2.25" x 3"
       2" x 1.5"

The greeting was cut with the Lori Whitlock All Occasion Box Card cricut cartridge from Sapphire and Cashmere card stock papers.
