Sunday Stamps Sketch #56

This week Joan designed this lovely sketch.  Didn't she do a great job?

There are so many things you can do with this sketch as you'll see by visiting the Sunday Stamps blog.  Feel free to change the circles to any shape you want.

Materials used (from Close To My Heart):
Artiste Cricut cartridge to cut heart shapes (page 66 @ 1.5")
Musical Flourish Embossing folder by Cuttlebug
Tulip ink--retired CTMH

We can't wait to see what you create using this sketch!   Please use a direct link to join us here and include a link back to us in your blog post.

Please take the time to visit the rest of the Design Team's blogs and leave them some appreciation.

Sympathy Card for Try Stamping on Tuesday #126

The sketch at TSOT this week lent itself very nicely to this circular digital stamp I acquired from Bugaboo and I was happy to finally use the Sketchy Rose Circle Stamp.  Other products used are: Crayola colored pencils, Small Majestic Butterfly (retired CTMH), Buttercup Fleur Des Jardines paper (retired CTMH), Words of Comfort, Black Ink, Liquid Glass (used on water drops--sorry it did not photograph well), Opaques Licorice Adhesive Gems and Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel.  The mats for the stamped images were cut from the inside of a security envelope as pictured below.

Color Dare #47--Just Honey With Emboss Resist Technique

This week at Color My Heart Color Dare the challenge is to make a card featuring the Close To My Heart color Honey.  You may add neutrals such as black, white, chocolate, cocoa and bamboo but the only "color" of the card should be Honey (or similar color if you don't have it).  I used Versamark ink and Clear Detail Embossing Powder to stamp the two images from Beautiful Friendship in opposite corners. Next I applied Honey ink using a sponge dauber and the embossed area remained white.  The greeting is from Casual Expressions and was stamped in Black ink.  The tied ribbon is Color Ready Seam Binding which is white.  Once again I used my sponge dauber to apply Honey ink over a craft mat.  I just rubbed it on--it was really easy to do.  This White Daisy panel was then mounted onto Honey CS.  The final accents on this card are  Opaque Licorice Adhesive Gems.

Now head on over to Color My Heart Color Dare and check out what the rest of the fabulous design team has created.  We hope you can join in on the fun!  Just link your papercrafted creation up by Thursday evening, June 20 at 9PM CST.
