Celebrate Today Hello Card With Atlantic Hearts Sketch #362

This week's Atlantic Hearts sketch is a great sketch to create cards quickly.

From start to finish my card took about 15 minutes to make!  (Usually it takes me twice that long just to decide on what products I'm going to use!)

     Celebrate Today Paper
     Sapphire CS
     Loose Sequins (Crafty)
     Hello Thin Cut Die (retired)

"Hello" was cut from Recollections Shimmer Silver paper.  To create the shadow I traced the back of the die onto the back of the Sapphire cardstock with a pencil and then cut it out.  I used an old Fiskars paper edger to trim the left side of the floral panel.

What will you create with this fabulous sketch?  The challenge will end this Sunday evening.  You can link up your creation here.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
     Crafty Cardmakers--Spring
     Dream Valley Challenges--Spring Colors
     Use Your Stuff--Spring
     My Inkie Fingers--Spring
     Penny Black and More--Spring Flowers

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!
:) Marie

Did you notice that the blue vertical stripe is the negative part of the music themed toner paper?

Other items used to make this card are Bluebird card stock, Bluebird Ink and Spruced Up Cardmaking stampStitched Rectangles Frames thin cut dies, scalloped border thin cut die, Black Nuvo Crystal Drops and black and silver dotted paper from The Glitzy Glitter Paper Stack by DCWV.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #359 with No Worries Paper

This week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch #359 features stripes and 2 focal elements.  I needed to make a masculine card for my son's birthday so I paired it with No Worries paper (retired Close to My Heart) and cut a couple of Party Balloons (retired Close to My Heart) for a really quick card.

The sentiment is also from Party Balloons and was gold embossed.  The balloons were cut with Party Balloons Thin Cut Dies from leftover gold holographic poster board used in a previous project.

Here is the wonderful Atlantic Hearts Sketch that inspired my card layout:
