Seasonal Trees Card With Atlantic Hearts Sketch

Seasonal Trees is next month's Stamp of the Month and it works so well with the current Atlantic Hearts Sketch #286.  This is a one layer card (not my usual style).  The accent dots were created with an eraser tip dipped in ink and then painted with the Gold Shimmer Brush.

      Seasonal Trees--available in November
      Bunches of Love
      Goldrush Ink
      Sponge
      Autumn Terracotta Ink (retired)
      Chocolate Ink (retired)
         Husk paper (retired)

Here is the wonderful sketch that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:

     Doubletrouble--Fall
House of Cards--Fall Flowers or Colors
     Addicted to CAS--Foliage

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

  4. Hi Marie, so glad you joined us at Double Trouble this week. Your CAS card is beautiful. Your technique for the dots almost look like the gold glitter gems. Would love to see you come back with another card for Halloween to share with our partner The Paper Girls and don’t forget our Special 5th Week Monday in October for the Double Trouble Challenge for SomeThing, EveryThing and AnyThing will be coming up soon.

  9. Lovely card, Marie! The second I saw it I was reminded of the song, "Shine On, Harvest Moon" made famous by Kate Smith. (Or maybe "Harvest Moon" by Neil Young for a younger generation than mine.) Thank you for joining in the challenge fun at Double Trouble and we hope to see you at our "Fifth Monday" challenge on October 28.
