Numbered Birthday Card With Tuesday Morning Sketch #530

A very special young man is celebrating his 39th birthday and I had to make him a very special card!  This week's Tuesday Morning Sketch #530 was perfect to highlight his special age.

The Sapphire circle and numbers were dipped in Versamark Ink and then into Polysparkle Tinsel Embossing Powder (very old Close to My Heart product) and embossed.  I love the shimmer it created.  The Party Balloons (retired from CTMH) greeting was also stamped in Versamark Ink and then Sapphire Ink and then embossed with Polysparkle Tinsel embossing powder.  The patterned paper is Hawthorn.

Here is the fabulous sketch that inspired my card design:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
AAA Challenge--One Image and Optional Twist Shimmer
     Papercraft Challenges--Birthdays
     Little Red Wagon--Happy Birthday
     Craft Rocket Challenges #65--Happy Birthday
     Watercooler Wednesday--Masculine
     AAA Birthday--Include a Number
     Heart 2 Heart--Full Circle

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!
:) Marie

  4. This turned out wonderful Marie! I love the die cut and the fact that it is not necessarily gender specific although I would use it most likely for masculine - the hardest cards for me. Thanks so much for creating with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches!!
