Color Dare #306 Meets Atlantic Hearts Sketch #277

Welcome back to another Color My Heart Color Dare challenge blog post!  This week we are inviting you to try combining the following three Close to My Heart colors:  New England Ivy, Saffron and Heather with an option of Gold.  If you don't have these exact colors yet you may substitute similar ones so you can still play along with our challenge.  It is OK to add neutrals also.

Close to My Heart products used:
     Gold Metallic Card Stock
     Enchantment Fundamentals Paper
     New England Ivy CS
     Saffron CS
     Heather CS
     Gone Fishin' greeting stamp (retired)
     Gold embossing powder

Instead of adding sequins, pearls or enamel dots as accents in the top left corner, I used a regular hole punch in the patterned paper to reveal the metallic gold underneath.

Your card is so fab! I especially like what you did with the hole punch and the gold paper showing through -- very clever! Thank you for joining us this week at Craftaholics R Us!

Marie I love the dots with the banners. I also like how you brought the gold into a few dots in the upper left corner. Love it!

The gold paper and the embossed sentiment is a nice contrast to the bold background and banners.

Wow, Marie, these colors really pack a punch, they work great together! Especially when paired with the metallic gold base and sequins. Nice take on the sketch, too. Thanks for sharing with us this week at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
