It was a lot of fun making this card using the
Freshly Made Sketch #56. It is a little bit larger (5" x 6.5") to accomodate the cuttlebug embossing folder image. Before I embossed the
Gypsy CS I inked up the embossing folder with
CTMH Black ink. The skeleton was cut with the Close to My Heart
Artiste cricut cartridge (pg.76) at 2.75".
Sunset CS and
White Daisy CS make up the background layers. The speckled strip of paper underneath the black ribbon is from a security envelope that my cell phone bill came in! I applied Silver Liquid Pearls Paint to the moon to complete the card. I am also linking this card to
Friday Favorite Things and
My Craft Spot.

What an awesome Halloween card! I love this embossing folder. How clever to use the speckled liner from the security envelope as one of the elements! Thanks for playing at Freshly Made Sketches!
What a great card Marie ... love your use of the envelope idea for the panel!
Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!!!
Well, using the envelope liner makes this card stand out even more---how COOL! Love it! Thanks for playing with the FMS sketch this week!
Great job, the folder is a perfect backdrop for the skeleton! BTW, was it difficult to cut it small? I find that sometimes detailed small items tear when I cut them on my cricut.
Perfectly spooky! Thanks for sharing on Friday Favorite Things!
Love it! All the details really come together for a fantastic final product!
