The challenge at CAS on Friday is to use a large sentiment and I was able to make a number of cards experimenting with different papers yet using the same die. I would love to know which card you like best so I am numbering them.
Card #1
AKA Marie Flayer, Welcome to my creative corner of the kingdom where I'll be sharing whatever pleases me.
The challenge at CAS on Friday is to use a large sentiment and I was able to make a number of cards experimenting with different papers yet using the same die. I would love to know which card you like best so I am numbering them.
Card #1
I'm loving the Close to my Heart Seasons in Motion special and have made a slew of Thanksgiving cards with these stamps and die cuts. I've used Orange colors for Color Dare #490--Shades of Orange. Notice how the scarecrow seems to be waving his hands as the "hello" tab is moved.
It's hard to believe my son will be celebrating his 40th birthday next week! The special card I made for him uses a pale green metallic foil for the Cricut cut (Rockwell Extra Bold) numbers and background panel along with Serenity Paper, Sapphire Card Stock, Sapphire Ink, Time to Celebrate stamp and Stitched Rectangle Frame Thin Cut Dies.
Here is the fabulous TGIF sketch that inspired my card layout:
I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Seize the Birthday--Option 1, 2 or 3 Watercooler Wednesday--Anything Goes with Masculine twist Inkspirational #226--"Frame It"
Here is the fabulous Atlantic Hearts Sketch that inspired my card creation. Our challenge is open until Sunday night, November 22. You can link up your entry here.
A dear friend just told me that her sister-in-law passed away so I created her a beautiful sympathy card with Serenity Paper pack from Close to my Heart. Freshly Made Sketches had a wonderful sketch to inspire my creativity.
One of my friends recently broke her arm and I remembered I had an old D.O.T.S. stamp called "Patch" (circa mid 1990's) that would suit the occasion.
I've made several cards recently with the Close to my Heart stamp set called "Get Well Soon" so when I looked on my crafting desk and the stamp set was still there I decided to use it with Case This Sketch #397.
Welcome back to another Joyful Stars Blog Hop! We are a group of Close to My Heart consultants who share something each month on the 9th and at 9PM EST. If you are coming from Joyce Gough's blog you are on the right track. (The complete lineup is on Joyce's blog in case you get lost.) Have fun being inspired!

Here is a quick card I was able to create following Freshly Made Sketch #460.
Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post! This week our inspirational sketch features a partial circle element along with 2 panels and a horizontal strip. We are also partnering with Double Trouble's Stitch it Up theme. My card uses Close to My Heart's Stitched Together paper, Scalloped Circle Thin Cut Die, Mint, Lagoon and Sapphire Card Stocks and Get Well Soon stamp set.
Here is the wonderful Atlantic Hearts Sketch #393 that inspired my card layout:

There is a really interesting sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and I was happy to find the time to play along.
I used my Cricut and Design Space to cut the shapes for this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch 578:
