Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post! This week our sketch features a framed vertical layout with a matted center sentiment circle with embellishments behind it. My card was made with my friend Susan in mind who did an awesome job of organizing a "Think Pink" event in my community. The diecut sentiment is from Close to my Heart "You Go Girl" and was embossed with Mulberry Star embossing powder by sparklensprinkle.com. The background panel was ink smooshed with pastel colors and then dry embossed with a "Quilted" embossing folder from We R Memory Makers. The stamped embellishments behind the center panel was made by a very old (30+ years old--wood) D.O.T.S. stamp called Midnight Stars in Sapphire Ink.
Here is our fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout and for you to try. Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, November 28 and you can link up your project here. We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love. Please stop by our blog on Wednesday to see what the rest of the talented Design Team has to inspire you.I’m also entering this card into the following challenges:

Fantastic card! The smooshed, embossed background is awesome. Love the embossed, die cut sentiment. I'm sure your friend will thrilled with this card. Thanks for sharing at A Cut Above's October, "Double, Triple the Die Cut Fun" Challenge.
Love the background and that super glittery sentiment, your friend will love it, I am sure. Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber this time. Claire RR DT.
Very striking card with very fun colors! Don't you love it when a stamp from the past (30+ years!) makes a card pop! Thank you for playing along at Retro Rubber!
Great fun background and embossing. Great take on the sketch. I just don't seem to think out of the box on sketches, so it always amazes me when I see how people interpret a sketch. Fantastic card. So glad you joined us at The Creative Crafters this month.
