My twin nieces turned 14 last week so I made them similar cards in their favorite colors. I used the Artiste cartridge to make the basic gift card holders and the new Artistry cartridge for the Happy Birthday decoration. I programmed my Cricut Explore to draw the Artistry Happy Birthday image instead of cutting it. The names were written with the Art Philosophy font and then colored in with markers.
Here is what the gift card looks like inside:
Pixie CS
Pixie Ink
Thistle CS
White Daisy CS
Artiste Cartridge
Artistry Cartridge
Card Chatter--Birthday (retired)
Happy Everything (retired)
Silver Metallic paper (retired)
Other products:
Cricut Explore Silver Metallic Marker
Cricut Explore Pink Crystal Marker
Cricut Explore Black Marker
Purple Metallic paper from recycled gift bag
Next on our blog hop tour is Helen Gullett. I'm sure you will like what she has to share! Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

What a great idea, using the drawing feature!
Very clever setting the cut image to write! Love it!
These are super cute! Great way of giving gift :)
The cards are really cute. I bet your nieces love them and the gift card. I like how you wrote the words using your Cricut.
How adorable!! I've only used my write feature one time on my Explore....thanks for showing me what it CAN do! :) Love how it's a gift card holder too!
Lovely Gift card holders Marie. AND, great idea to us the write feature. Saves time, paper and gluing!!!
