Color Dare #30--Pacifica and Sorbet

Welcome to Color My Heart Color Dare #30!.  This week we are featuring the Close to My Heart complimentary colors of Pacifica and Sorbet.  My card has several paper layers: Pacifica, Sorbet and White Daisy CS, Dreamin'(retired CTMH), White Daisy and Clementine patterned paper and lots of 3D Foam Tape to pop up the Thanks label and also the flowers.  The flowers were cut from Clementine paper with the Cricut Artiste cartridge (page61 accent 3 shift at 1.5").   The White Daisy background panel was stamped with a flourish stamp from the Love Life set in Pacifica pigment ink.  The focal image stamp, Thanks, was stamped in Sorbet ink.  The flower centers are Opaque Licorice  Adhesive Gems.

Be sure to see what the rest of the design team has for you this week and join us for this fun challenge.  If you don't have these Close To My Heart colors you can substitute something similar.  Hope to see you at the Color Dare this week!  Please link back to Color Dare #30.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!
:) Marie

I love how you used the flourish stamp to make a background paper. I may have to CASE that for a project in the future. Your card has a nice, tropical feel which I am sure we could all use about now.

I LOVE your card, Marie! I will tell you why. I didn't notice you used them at first, but the Dreamin and Clementine B&Ts you used look gorgeous together, and I love how you layered them with the white. I also love the background flourish, and the square panel with the "thanks." And I like how you did the corners and matted it on the sorbet cardstock. And I love all the layers, it really gives it a fancy feel. Great job!

Interesting how we all used a different neutral for this dare. Those gems look almost blue! Love all the swirling going on with the background and sentiment. I agree with Hansi, your card has a warm, tropical feel.

That swirly background is one of my faves! Great job with the colors this week too, Marie--those opaques absolutely do look blue on this card! Love it!
