Several family members love cats so I used the TGIF Sketch to feature one. The cat was colored to resemble my old cat.
AKA Marie Flayer, Welcome to my creative corner of the kingdom where I'll be sharing whatever pleases me.

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post! This week we have a horizontally divided sketch with a large central focal element to spark your creativity. I used my favorite Thank You Thin Cut die with Gold Metallic paper and Candy Apple Card Stock and a couple of Heart dies in Glacier turned sideways to resemble the bow on the sketch. The Eat, Play, Love paper is from Close to my Heart.
Here is the fabulous Atlantic Hearts Sketch that inspired my card layout. Our challenge is open until Sunday evening March 21 and you can link up your project here. We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving comment love when you play along.

St. Patrick's Day Cards with Freshly Made Sketch #476
Happy St. Patrick's Day to all! Here are a couple of cards I made following this week's Freshly Made Sketch #476. The first card used a Cricut cut and the second card used some very old (D.O.T.S./CTMH wooden stamps from the late 1990's). The paper colors are Clover and Mint and several Spectrum Noir markers (Gold Metallic, Alpine Green, Light Green Blend, Orange Blend, Fair Skin Blend) were used.

Howdy Neighbors Congrats Card with Stella Says Sketch #905
One of my best friends just got a new job so it was a perfect opportunity to create a fun card for her. Her favorite color is pink so I used Flamingo ink with Flamingo Card Stock with Black accents. The pink plaid paper came from Blue Skies paper pack. The stamps came from Howdy Neighbors stamp set. The bold "congrats" sentiment was embossed by inking in Versamark and Black ink before applying Clear Embossing Powder.

Sparkly Birthday Card with Freshly Made Sketch #475
This quick birthday card was made for my niece who loves the color blue and anything sparkly. The patterned paper is called Winter Wonderland by Best Creation Inc. and had been in my paper stash for quite awhile. The panels were cut 1.5" x 3.75". The background paper is Glacier by Close to my Heart. The glittery white diecuts (retired Stitched Heart and Happy Birthday also from CTMH) were cut into Glitter Adhesive Foam by Creatology.

Masculine Congratulations Card with Tuesday Morning Sketch #595
My nephew just got hired for his dream job. He has quite a dry sense of humor so I thought I would try to honor him with my own sense of funny with this card.
This card is based on this week's Tuesday Morning Sketch #595. I rotated the card ninety degrees and replaced the background medallions with patterned paper featuring rocks. The small horizontal paper strip was replaced with a bent arrow image to highlight the "You Rock" sentiment.
Here is the Tuesday Morning Sketch that inspired (however loosely) my card layout:

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #405 with Country Dragonfly and Hello
Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post! This week our challenge invites you to have several horizontal panels with an offset frame. We hope you find the time to play along with us this week. My card features Blossom paper.
The Dragonfly stamps and Hello stamp from Happiness Lives Here--Cardmaking were first inked in Versamark Ink and then inked in Sapphire Ink and Clear Embossed. They were then colored with Jade Green Tri-Blend Marker and True Blue Tri-Blend Markers. The background behind the dragonfly is retired Sunset paper cut with Stitched Bracket Thin Cut Dies. The middle panel was trimmed with very old Deckle Edge scissors. The striped elements are "zip strips" from the Blossom paper.
