Kendra's Card Challenge #13 Completed with Multiple Challenge Entries

Last year I stumbled upon (perhaps from Pinterest?)  Kendra's Card Challenges.  This is her 13th challenge and she has templates to use 6 different 6 x 6 papers (with the addition of coordinating card stocks) to create 15 different cards.  The cutting diagrams and card sketches were well labeled and easy to follow.  It took me 3 months to complete but it was a lot of fun!

Here are photos of the 6 papers I started with--an older Stampin' Up set called "Feels Like Frost". Using double sided paper gives so many more options!

Here is my completed set:

I used silver mirrored card stock on many of these photos which can be difficult to capture in photos.  A variety of stamps and dies from several companies were used mainly from Close to my Heart and Simon Says Stamp.

Hey Chick Card with Sketch Saturday #747

 When I saw this week's Sketch Saturday sketch I knew I would have to try it.  I already had the 4 chicks panel stamped and colored (April Close to my Heart Stamp of the Month "Just Chicken In") so I went looking for striped paper in my stash.  This is what I came up with:

Milestone Birthday Card with Freshly Made Sketch #628

I needed to make a special card for a male friend and decided to start with Freshly Made Sketch #628.  I didn't feel like taking out my Cricut machine to cut out the numbers so I used an Embossing Pen and Gold Embossing Powder to make the number 70.  The orientation of the sentiment was flipped to take advantage of the open space to the left of numbers.

Masculine Birthday Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #569

 Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a vertical layout with an aperture and strips behind it and a sentiment which is 2 different sizes.  The paper strips I used were scraps saved from other projects.

Masculine Birthday Card with Just Add Ink Sketch #692

 I'm playing along with Just Add Ink Sketch #692 today with this masculine birthday card.  The stamp set is from Simon Says Stamp called "Etched Greetings" and the paper is from Close to my Heart called "Hello Darlin'.  The balloon die cut is from Scrapbook.Com.  Cobalt Tapestry embossing powder from Personal Stamp Exchange was used.

Get Well Card with Try a Sketch on Tuesday Sketch #642

The split diagonal sketch at Try a Sketch on Tuesday this week appealed to me so I made a Get Well card with it for a friend recovering from surgery.  The gold foil edged flowers were cut from a piece of Paper Studio paper and the greeting is from an old Stampin' Up stamp set called "Healing Hugs". The background papers are probably 20 years old or so from Close to my Heart called "Buttercup".   The center stripe is Wild Berry Shimmer Trim.

Froggy Birthday Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #567
