December Joyful Stars Blog Hop with You Are Here Christmas Tree

Welcome back to another Joyful Stars Blog Hop! We are a group of Close to My Heart consultants who share something each month on the 9th and at 9PM EST. If you are coming from Debi Brile's blog you are on the right track. (The complete lineup is on Joyce's blog in case you get lost.) Have fun being inspired!

My cards were made with the latest Close to My Heart cricut cartridge called "You Are Here".  After I made the first card with Peacock, Glacier and Silver Foil, I looked at my Cricut Mat and thought that I could use the Silver Foil pieces left there to create another card with inlaid pieces.  Then I cut out the tree again with Gold Foil and combined it with the leftover silver pieces and paper from the Silver and Gold paper packet.  The sentiments are from the Silver and Gold--Cardmaking stamp set.

Which one do you like better?  Please leave me a comment to let me know which one you like better and you just may win your favorite one.  I will use a "random draw" from all comments received by 12/17/17.

Now it's time to hop on over to Michelle Loncar's blog. I'm sure you'll be inspired by what she shares.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
      Three Amigos--Silver and Gold
      Heart 2 Heart--Silver and Gold
      Addicted to CAS #126--Sparkle
      Bitten by the Bug--Christmas Tree
Gem of a Challenge--Anything Goes                              Christmas
Sparkle and Glitter with Rick #8--Anything                 Goes--Optional Christmas

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!
:) Marie

Love the cards, good example of You are Here cartridge. Got to make this card. I like the first one, but in person I would probably like to second one.

Love the elegance of the foil tree!

Oh so pretty. I really like the second one with both the silver and gold. I have not tried this tree yet - looks like I need to get out my cricut!

These cards are very elegant. The foil always makes the card more stunning and gives it a wow factor. I love the Christmas tree cut, too. Both cards are beautiful, but I like the colors of the first card. Thanks for joining us at BBTB2.

Beautiful cards! I believe I like the 2nd card the best, even though they are both so pretty! :) Using the extra inset pieces was a great idea! :)

They are both stunning...can't choose one over the other. I have been ignoring my cricut for too long, thanks for the inspiration to pull it out again. Thanks for sharing with us at Heart2Heart.
