Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #405 with Country Dragonfly and Hello

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our challenge invites you to have several horizontal panels with an offset frame.  We hope you find the time to play along with us this week. My card features Blossom paper.

The Dragonfly stamps and Hello stamp from Happiness Lives Here--Cardmaking were first inked in Versamark Ink and then inked in Sapphire Ink and Clear Embossed. They were then colored with Jade Green Tri-Blend Marker and True Blue Tri-Blend Markers.  The background behind the dragonfly is retired Sunset paper cut with Stitched Bracket Thin Cut Dies.  The middle panel was trimmed with very old Deckle Edge scissors.  The striped elements are "zip strips" from the Blossom paper.

Here is the fabulous Atlantic Hearts Sketch this week. Our challenge remains open until Sunday evening, January 31.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and commenting on your creative work with this sketch.  Please link up here.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:

Just a Note Card with Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #490

Quite a while ago I created this lovely background with Local King Rubber's Ocean Waves background stamp and have finally put it to use in a card.  It was stamped in Sapphire Ink and Versamark Ink and Clear Embossed. It was sponged with Lagoon and Sky Inks.  I combined it with a very old wooden stamp set from Close to my Heart called Musical Medley, Sky cardstock and Sapphire cardstock. A White and Gold Ribbon separates the two panels as in the Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch.

Here is the fabulous Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into Double Trouble #75 KAZOO-a-long (to add a musical element) which is partnering with TSOT this week.

This card also qualifies for Simon Says Wednesday challenge to "Make Your Own Background".  I'm also entering Aud Sentiments--Anything Goes.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

It was too windy to play winter golf today so I had some extra time in my craft room.  I made a bright and colorful card using Close to my Heart's Blossom paper zip strips, a retired stamp set called Get Well Soon and Freshly Made Sketch #469.

The base card stock is Sunset (retired CTMH) and the ink color is Lagoon.  The tissue box was colored with a Jade Green Tri-Blend Marker.

Christmas Card with Fusion Card Challenge Sketch

Here is a quick card I was able to put together with an "extra" poinsettia that was hiding under some things on my craft desk.  This week's Fusion Sketch was perfect for this element.

The background panel is Sage Card Stock and the 'Tis the Season stamp set greeting was stamped in Evergreen Ink.  The vertical stripes are Laser Tape from the Dollar Tree which I've had in my stash for years. The poinsettia is from Traditional Holiday stamp set (retired 3 years ago from Close to my Heart) and was stamped in Black Ink onto Ruby and Evergreen card stocks and laminated before attaching to the card front.

Here is the wonderful Fusion Sketch Graphic which inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:

Golf Themed Card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #404

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch has 3 central elements and rectangular layers to spark your creativity. Since I have many golf playing friends I chose to make a golf themed card using golf ball and greeting from retired Clubhouse stamp set by SU.

The golf ball paper is from ScrapbookCustoms.com from several years ago.  I also used Evergreen and Sage Card Stocks, Charcoal and Sapphire Inks and Stitched Rectangle Frame Thin Cuts on my card.  To reduce bulk I used a ruler and a Jade Green Tri-Blend Marker to outline the Sage focal panel piece.

Here is our fabulous Atlantic Hearts Sketch graphic.  You can link up your creation here until Sunday evening, January 24.

I'm also sharing this card with the following challenges:
Simon Says Monday--We're on a Roll
Use Your Stuff--Out With the Old (patterned paper is 5 or more              years old, Clubhouse stamp set is 2 years old)
Through the Craft Room Door--Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #403 With Every Little Thing Cardmaking Stamps

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch has some vertical panels, a main focal image and several accents.  To stay more true to the sketch I trimmed back part of the frame stamped image from Every Little Thing Cardmaking set (currently on clearance here). Paper colors are Blue Belle (sprayed with gold metallic shimmer paint) and Sapphire.  The images were embossed with Versamark and Sapphire Ink and then sprinkled with Holographic Embossing Powder by Ranger. The flowers were colored with Avocado Shimmer Brush and Hydrangea Tri-Blend Marker.  The dark blue enamel dots are from Seas the Day.

Here is our fabulous sketch.  Our challenge remains open until Sunday evening, January 17 and you can link up your creation here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some "comment love".

I used Every Little Thing Cardmaking stamps to create the following cards more loosely based on the above sketch.

Another Thanks Thin Cut Die Card with Freshly Made Sketch #466

I'm having so much fun making cards with my new Thanks Thin Cut Die!  Here is another quick card that I made following Freshly Made Sketch #466.

This card features Black Ore paper and the negative cut from the Thanks Thin Cut Die.  Scraps of holographic poster board were used to cut the focal panel and side strips.  (There is a diagonal cut on the center panel to avoid previous cuts in the top left hand corner--have to use every little bit haha!)

Here is the fabulous Freshly Made Sketch that inspired my card layout:

New ThanksThin Cut Dies with Freshly Made Sketch #466

Freshly Made Sketch #466 was used to create this sparkly card using a recent gift to myself of Close to my Heart's Thanks Thin Cut Dies.  The patterned paper is from Mix-in Paper. The background die cut is from Recollections Antique Gold Shimmer paper.  The top layer of die cut and side panels came from scraps from a gold holographic poster sheet that I had saved from years ago when I was creating gift boxes.
