Fusion Card Challenge Meets Color Dare #394

The flourish on the Fusion Card Challenge graphic interested me so I decided to create a card with it. I used Close to My Heart Lagoon colored paper, ink and shimmer brush to also participate in the Color My Heart Color Dare Monochromatic Greens Challenge #394.  The flourish stamp is a very old wooden CTMH stamp called Poetry in Motion.  The sponge like background paper is from Adventure Fundamentals from 2017.  The sentiment stamp is from Time to Celebrate, the May Stamp of the Month.

Here is the Fusion Challenge graphic that inspired my card design:

New Home Welcome Card for Color Dare #394 Monochromatic Greens

It has been a long time since I've participated in a Color Dare challenge and I was inspired to join when I saw the Monochromatic Green challenge.  I made this card a few weeks ago for friends who moved into a home with a green door and shutters.

      Heart and Home stamp (retired)
      Lagoon Card Stock
      Black Embossing Powder
      Adventure Fundamentals 2017 Patterned Paper
      Clear Shimmer Brush
      Red TriBlend  Marker
      Light Green TriBlend Marker
      Toffee Ink for wreath

(Although this challenge requires no other colors except greens and neutrals, it just made sense to have the accent wreath in a different color than green so I hope my entry is not disqualified for this artistic license).

Here is the Color Dare challenge graphic.  Just click on it to get to the post where you can enter until Thursday, May 28th at 9PM CST.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Make My Monday--Tone on Tone Background

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #368 with a Million Little Things

Welcome to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week we are framing the center and adding a focal image to overlap the frame.  I used "A Million Little Things" stamp set, "Time to Celebrate" stamp of the Month and "Stitched Together Paper to make my card.  I also used Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers (Light Green, Ice Grey and Dark Red) Candy Apple Card stock and Stitched Rectangle Frames.  The bow was cut from Silver Glitter Paper with a retired Gift Set Thin Cut Die.  A little bit of Clear Shimmer Brush outlines the flower petals.

Here is the fabulous Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge that inspired my card layout:

Hole in One Congrats Card with Sunday Stamps Sketch #230

A friend of mine just made a hole in one so I made her a celebratory card with the current Sunday Stamps Sketch #230.

The background paper is from an unknown source.  The sentiments were stamped with Gold Embossing Powder with Close to my Heart's May Stamp of the Month called Time to Celebrate.  The dark green paper strips are CTMH Evergreen Card Stock.   Gold Glitter Gems adorn the side strip.  The "Hole in One" sentiment is from an old CTMH stamp set called "Tee Time" and was stamped in Evergreen Ink,

Mother's Day Cards for May Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Joyful Stars Blog Hop! We are a group of Close to My Heart consultants who share something each month on the 9th and at 9PM EST. If you are coming from Joyce Hauck's blog you are on the right track. (The complete lineup is on Joyce's blog in case you get lost.) Have fun being inspired!

Mother's Day is this upcoming Sunday and although my mom and mother-in-law have passed on I created cards for my sisters and daughters-in-law to honor them.  My first card features Dreamy Holographic Paper, Stitched Circles Embossing Folder, Sapphire Card Stock, Glacier Cardstock and Say it in Style stamp set.

I had several pieces of embossed Dreamy Holographic paper leftovers so I also made these quick cards adding Lilac, Thistle and Sapphire card stock paper in the first card.  The second card uses Glacier, Sapphire and Peacock card stocks.  The greeting is from Birthday Greetings stamp set.

Back to Mother's Day Cards--the next cards use the new Aurora papers and the May Stamp of the Month--Time to Celebrate.

I'm entering cards into the following challenges:
     Cardz 4 Galz--Birthday
     Simon Says Wednesday--Dies/Punches
     Always Fun--Female or Mom
     Get Creative--Make it Sparkly
Happy Little Stampers--Anything Goes With Dies

I would love to know which is your favorite card.  Please leave a comment below.

Now it's time to head over to Krista Hershberger's blog --I'm sure you'll be inspired by what she has to share.

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Stitched Together Mother's Day Card for Case This Sketch #370

Although my mom and mother-in-law are with us in spirit I've been making Mother's Day cards to share with my sisters, daughters-in-law and mother figures in my life.  I really liked the "wonky" layers of the Case This Sketch challenge and I turned it so it could fit in the Mother's Day sentiments.

The pretty patterned paper is Stitched Together over Peach Card Stock.  The Stitched Rectangle Thin Cut Die was used.  The sentiment is the May Stamp of the Month called Time to Celebrate (only $5 with $50 purchase).  Once I cut a template for the layered pieces it was really quick to put together, so I made a few more cards.

This second card uses the flip side of the patterned paper from the first card.

My third card uses Adventure Fundamentals Paper from 2017 with Lagoon Card Stock as the base.

I would love to know which card you like best. Please share in the comments below.

Here is the fabulous Case This Sketch #370 graphic which inspired my card layouts.

Here is the very versatile May Stamp of the Month set of sentiments called Time to Celebrate.

I'm also entering these cards into the following challenges:

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge # 367

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week we have lots of layers to challenge your card making.  Here is our current sketch for you to try:

Image may contain: 1 person, possible text that says 'Sketch 367 Sentiment smal sentiment Createdby Michele Stevart for for Atlantic Hear ts Sketch Challenge'

I'm still using up scraps left over from my wedding Thank You cards and made an Anniversary card:

The silver patterned papers are from an old Martha Stewart collection.  The solid blue card stock is Sapphire from Close to my Heart.  The sparkly hearts and dots were created by placing the Sapphire card stock in Versamark Ink and then embossing with Polysparkle Tinsel Embossing Powder (retired CTMH).  The greeting is from Close to my Heart's Every Little Thing Cardmaking set.

We hope you can join us by sharing your artwork with us here.  Our challenge will end Sunday evening March 10.

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
     Corrosive Challenge #5-Anything Goes
