The sand dollar and gold shell were cut from the Seas the Day patterned paper and embellished with Diamond Stickles.  A Seashell Sequin adorns the sentiment panel.

Here is the fabulous Atlantic Hearts Sketch that inspired my card layout:

Birthday Card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch #373

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week we have a wonderful sketch to stimulate your creativity.  Our sketch this week features a half circle off the edge with a focal image within it, two sentiment strips and two vertical panels.

I used products from my stash to create this card so the products are all retired from Close to My Heart. The striped paper is from "I Heart Us" paper and the birthday candles and greeting are from "So Many Candles Workshop Your Way". Bisque Liquid Pearls color the candle flames.

Our challenge is open until Sunday evening June 21 and you can link up your card here.  We would love to see what you can create this week.  This is the fabulous Atlantic Hearts Sketch that inspired my card layout:

Since this is a birthday card I'm going to enter it into the following challenge:

A Million Little Things and Stitched Together for Sketch Saturday #613

When I saw the current Sketch Saturday challenge graphic I remembered that I own an old Fiskars slot corner punch with hearts that would work perfectly for this challenge.  My current favorite floral stamp set from Close to My Heart is "A Million Little Things" and I'm featuring it over "Stitched Together" patterned paper and Candy Apple frame.  The flower was colored with Coral, Dull Grey and Ice Grey Tri Blend Markers and embellished with a Clear Shimmer Brush.  The sentiment is from the Aurora Cardmaking Workshop kit.

Here is the Sketch Saturday Challenge graphic that inspired my card layout:

I'm also sharing this card with the following challenges:
     Creative Knockouts--Anything Goes
Shopping Our Stash--Unfinished Objects (I colored the flower              weeks ago!)
Ellibelle's Crafty Wednesday--In the Summer Garden

Color Dare #396 Meets Fusion Card Challenge

I really like the Mix-In Color Palette from Color My Heart Color Dare #396 so I created a second card for the challenge.  I'm still enjoying playing with Through Thick and Thin stamp set (retired May 2020) so it was used to make a fun birthday card based on the Fusion Card Challenge sketch.

The challenge colors I used are Linen, Peacock, Peach and Mint.  The birthday sentiment is from Birthday Greetings.  The patterned background paper is from Sweet Girl (retired CTMH).  The Mint Shimmer Brush was used to color the Mint toilet paper rolls.

Here is the Color Dare Mix-In Color Palette challenge graphic that inspired my card:

June Joyful Stars Blog Hop with Brushed and a Budding Friendship

Welcome back to another Joyful Stars Blog Hop! We are a group of Close to My Heart consultants who share something each month on the 9th and at 9PM EST. If you are coming from Betty Locco's blog you are on the right track. (The complete lineup is on Joyce's blog in case you get lost.) Have fun being inspired!

Close to my Heart has brought pack a lovely old paper pack called Brushed and a pair of stamp sets to coordinate with them.  (These are available for a limited time only.)

My cards were inspired by three different sketch challenges and I will list the sketch directly underneath each card.

This first card was inspired by Sunday Stamps Sketch #232.
The cardstock colors are Black, Lemonade, Candy Apple and Green Apple.  The patterned paper is from the featured paper pack "Brushed".  The small floral stamp and greeting are from "A Budding Friendship".

Here is the fabulous Sunday Stamps sketch that inspired my card layout:

My second card was inspired by Stick it Down June 2020 sketch.  The background card stocks are White Daisy and Pixie.  The yellow floral patterned paper is from "Brushed" and it is matted with Green Apple Card Stock.  The flower from "A Budding Friendship" was stamped on Candy Apple and Green Apple card stocks with Intense Black Ink.  The "Say it in Style" sentiment was embossed on vellum and cut with a retired Thin Cut Banner die.   The flower was brushed with a Clear Shimmer Brush and Julep Gems accent the four corners of the card.

My last card was based on the Case the Designer challenge at Global Design Project.#244.  I really liked the cut away front panel that reveals a different paper lining the inside.  The patterned papers are also from "Brushed".  The flower was stamped onto Lemonade Card Stock and brushed with a Peach Shimmer Brush.  The flower center was accented with Golden Rod Stickles.  The leaves were stamped on Evergreen Card Stock.

This is another view so you can see that the top panel is narrower than the entire card.

This is the Global Design Project graphic that inspired the above card:

Which card do you like best?  Please feel free to leave me a comment below.

Here are the featured products I used in making these 3 cards:

Brushed Paper Packet (CC6201)

Now it's time to head over to Joyce Gough's blog --I'm sure you'll be inspired by what she has to share.

Atlantic Hearts #371 Meets Color Dare #96 Mix-In Palette

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week we have a wonderful sketch to stimulate your creativity.  I chose to use 3 of the colors (Charcoal, Sweet Leaf and Peacock) from the Color Dare challenge board to create my cards.

The sentiment is from Every Little Thing Cardmaking stamp set and the leaf is from Every Little Thing Vellum Diecuts.  (To color the back side of the leaves I smooshed some Peacock ink onto an acrylic block, spritzed it with water and painted it with a waterbrush).

Here's a slightly different card using the same sentiment with slightly different papers.

Which card do you like better?

Our challenge is open until Sunday evening June 7 and you can link up your card here.  We would love to see what you can create this week.  This is the fabulous Atlantic Hearts Sketch that inspired my card layout:

Sparkly Strips for Freshly Made Sketch #437

Here is a quick card I made using Freshly Made Sketch #437.   The stamp set is "Your Own Kind of Wonderful" which is an older Close to My Heart set which is returning for the month of June.  The subtly striped patterned paper is Mix-In and it was mounted over Silver Foil paper. The blue glossy stripes were from an old Discover card mailing and the red stripes are Laser Tape from the Dollar Tree.  An embossed Country Dragonfly was popped up with 3D Foam Tape.  The ink is Candy Apple.

Here is the fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
     Your Next Stamp--Sparkle and Shine
     Simon Says Wednesday--Anything Goes
     Creative Fingers Challenge--Anything Goes
