Three Paneled Floral Birthday Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch # 631

Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a horizontal layout with 3 panels, a centered focal image with a sentiment banner.  My card making process started with looking through my stash for diagonally striped paper which was found in Close to my Heart's Chelsea Garden Paper Pack. Then I figured out the math for the paper sizes and mats. (4.1/4" x 5.5" card, mat layer of 4" x 51/4", 2 panels of 1.1/4" x 3 5/8", center panel of 2" x 3 5/8" mat and 1.75" x 3 3/8" panel) The floral image i "s from CTMH "Botanical Shadows" which I carefully inked with Honey Butter and Julep inks.  The sentiment is from CTMH "From Me to You" stamped in Mist ink.

Here is our fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout and for you to try.  Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, June 8 and you can link up your project here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love. Just a Note Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #618

Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a horizontal layout with several stripes, an embellishment, a sentiment and a trio of small embellishments.  The sentiment from my card came from an old Close to my Heart stamp set called "Card Captions".  The striped patterned paper is from CTMH "Lovely" and background mat and ink is Julep.  The hearts were punched from Julep Glitter paper and the butterfly with leaves image is from a roll of Birds PET Washi Tape.

Julep Glitter Birthday Card With Sunday Stamps Sketch #26

This fortnight's sketch at Sunday Stamps really appealed to me and I was glad to find the time to create this glittery birthday card.

I've had this Julep Glitter Paper in my stash for almost a year as it was the CTMH color of the year.  The plaid paper is Timber and the fancy diecut is from Stitched Together Cardmaking and Thin Cut Dies.  "Birthday" was stamped with Julep Ink.  The background paper is Colonial White (retired CTMH).

I rotated the sketch 90 degrees so that the Happy die cut would fit in the sketch.  Here is the fabulous Sunday Stamps sketch:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:

     Little Red Wagon #561--Happy Days
