Farewell Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #553

Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a horizontal layout with a central focal element with layers and embellishments from the side.  My card was made for good friends who are moving away.  I created the greeting on my computer and printed it on to card stock. The patterned paper is from Hawthorn paper pack (retired Close to my Heart) with a light grey layer under it and then over Gold Metallic Card Stock.

Here is our fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout and for you to try.  Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, December 3 and you can link up your project here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love. Please stop by our blog on Wednesday to see what the rest of the talented Design Team has to inspire you.

I’m also entering this card into the following challenges:

Numbered Birthday Card With Tuesday Morning Sketch #530

A very special young man is celebrating his 39th birthday and I had to make him a very special card!  This week's Tuesday Morning Sketch #530 was perfect to highlight his special age.

The Sapphire circle and numbers were dipped in Versamark Ink and then into Polysparkle Tinsel Embossing Powder (very old Close to My Heart product) and embossed.  I love the shimmer it created.  The Party Balloons (retired from CTMH) greeting was also stamped in Versamark Ink and then Sapphire Ink and then embossed with Polysparkle Tinsel embossing powder.  The patterned paper is Hawthorn.

Here is the fabulous sketch that inspired my card design:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
