Butterflies For You with Tuesday Morning Sketch #525

When I saw this fascinating sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches I thought of an underused retired Close to My Heart paper pack called Some Kind of Wonderful with its huge circles and bright colors.  I paired it with a current CTMH stamp set called Butterflies for You from the Every Little Thing Cardmaking Kit and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers.  The background color and sentiment color is Raspberry.

Here is the wonderful Tuesday Morning sketch that inspired my card layout:

Golf Themed Get Well Card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch #211

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge blog post!  We have another fabulous sketch for you to try this week!

When I first saw the sketch, I thought of using flowers but then I remembered that I wanted to make a get well card for a golf buddy who just broke his ankle and I changed the flowers to golf balls and the flower stems to golf tees.  Thinking "outside the box", wouldn't you agree?

The scalloped circle was cut in Design Space using the Elegant Edges cartridge.  The golf tees were from an image I had uploaded.

Live Beautifully paper (gold foil dotted                               background)
     Pacifica CS
     Whisper CS
     Emerald CS
     Sea Glass CS
     Sea Glass Ink
Laughing Lola Cardmaking stamp (stamped on                    circle inside)
     Black Memento Ink
     Kiss it Better stamp (retired)
     Tee Time stamp (retired)
Ranger Silver Fine Detail Embossing Powder

Color Throwdown #434 Meets Case This Sketch #212

Being part Irish I do send out some St. Patrick's Day cards to certain family members and this is the fourth St. Patrick's Day card I've posted so far.  My card started with the Case This Sketch #212 and the colors from the Color Throwdown--green, gold, black with neutrals.  I started with the basic card and then kept adding embellishments:

Added some shamrocks:

Added some gold sequins:

Added some tiny pearls for the sequin centers:

Which one do you like best?

Flower Market Cricut cartridge (shamrock wreath)
     Gold Glitter Paper
     Emerald CS
     Adventure Fundamentals paper
     White Daisy CS
     Create Kindness--Special stamp (retired)
     Emerald Ink
     Black Shimmer Trim
     Black and Gold Ribbon
     Gold Sequins
     Bitty Pearls (retired)
     Gold Metallic Marker

This sketch inspired my card layout:

The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants on Melinda’s Blog

This month we have 31 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using new products from the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalog and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

My friendship card features the following new products from Seasonal Expressions 1:
     Regatta paper

Other Close to my Heart products:
     3D Foam Tape

Do you see the pretty focal frame?  It was actually cut from a piece of Regatta paper.  Look in the lower left hand corner to find it.  How easy to use is this?!

I followed the Stick it Down January card sketch to make this card.

Now "Hop" on over to the very beginning of the hop to Wendy Kessler's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the items featured in the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalog are available only until April 30.  Contact your CTMH Consultant (or click here) to see how you can get these limited time only products.

Here are some more projects I have made using new products from the Seasonal Expressions 1 catalog: Stamps of Approval Card, Kiss it Better card, Spring Critter card, Beloved Bouquet card.
