Slimline Sunflower Birthday Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #471

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a Slimline Card with 3 rectangular layers, a center strip, center circle element and small sentiments.  I used papers from "Sunset Fields" paper bloc from Recollections.  To reduce bulk on my card, I used a brown watercolor marker and a ruler to outline all of the rectangles.  The floral wreath was fussy cut from a tag included in the paper bloc.  The sentiment is from Alina Cuttle.

Here is our fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout and for you to try.  Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, May 7 and you can link up your project here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love. Please stop by our blog on Wednesday to see what the rest of the talented Design Team has to inspire you.

I’m also entering this card into the following challenges:

Pixie Sparkled Panel for Freshly Made Sketch #493

Several weeks ago I was playing with Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Sparkles and created several backgrounds with different colors.  One of those panels is the central element of my card today adorned by Crafter's Companions butterflies (Spread Your Wings) stamped on Recollections Color Splash paper. This card is so sparkly in person!  The strips surrounding the panel are Lagoon Card Stock and the Get Well Soon greeting is from Alinacuttle (Create a Lovely Life).

Here is the fabulous Freshly Made Sketch #493 that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
