One of my friends who loves butterflies will be celebrating her birthday in November. When I saw the "Butterfly Kisses and Birthday Wishes" sentiment stamp from the Close to my Heart Creativity in Motion special promotion I knew I would use it to make a card. Rather than stamp butterflies on the card I remembered that I had older paper with a butterfly pattern (Dotty for You--retired CTMH).

I really liked the simplicity of the current Fusion Card Challenge Sketch so I combined it with Aurora Paper, Sage Card Stock, Sapphire Ink, Sentiments by Melissa Esplin stamp and Stitched Together Cardmaking and Thin Cuts. This was a really quick card to make!
Here is the fabulous Fusion Card Challenge sketch that inspired my card layout:
If you don't look at the balloons or pastel colors this graphic reminds me of a nebula or galaxy drawing so I took out the Aurora paper for the background.

Our golf league is having it's end of the year banquet and there are several key people that deserve appreciation. I pulled out some golf themed paper, some sparkly holographic posterboard scraps, a Thank You die (retired Close to My Heart) and the current Freshly Made Sketch #454 for inspiration.

Today I'm sharing a congratulations card for a special young lady made following the current Sketch Saturday sketch. The rosy background paper is retired from Close to My Heart "La Vie En Rose". I used my Cricut to draw the Emmy Award. The small stamps are from "30 Years of Happy" and "You Amaze Me"--also retired from Close to My Heart. The focal panel is backed with a scrap from a sheet of holographic poster paper from my stash.

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post! This week our sketch challenges you to slant your paper while including a sentiment in the lower corner. My card features Close to My Heart's Lovely paper and coordinating card stocks in Sage, Ballerina and Blue Belle. The greeting comes from my favorite sentiment set called "Sentiments by Melissa Esplin".
Below is our fabulous sketch. We can't wait to see how you will interpret it. You can share your project with us here. We look forward to visiting your blog soon.

My Cricut was dusted off and used in creating this bridal shower card for my stepdaughter.
The background card stock is Close to My Heart's new color of the year Blue Belle. A holographic paper by Colorbok is the background of the doily and diamond. A purple metallic cricut pen wrote the sentiment. If you would like to replicate the card you can go here.
My card layout was inspired by this fabulous Freshly Made Sketch #453:

The flower array on my card is from Bunches of Love stamp set and was stamped in Evergreen Ink on Julep card stock, a gold foil strip and Evergreen strip. The sentiment is from Spruced Up Cardmaking. The flower and leaves were colored in with Julep Shimmer Brush, Sugarplum Shimmer Brush and Lemonade Shimmer Brush.
Here is this week's sketch. We look forward to seeing how you interpret it. Our challenge ends Sunday evening, September 13 and you can link up here.
