The challenge at
Bitten by the Bug this week is "Thanksgiving with Fall Leaves". The Cricut Simple Holiday cartridge has a Thanksgiving card with leaves and flourishes which really appealed to me. The Thanksgiving card design was modified in Design Space so I could layer it over a contrasting color. I cut 3 cards from 3 different colors (Recollections Spice Market paper pack) and then "paper pieced" them in different combinations. (I used scotch tape on the back to keep the pieces in place.) These are the cards I came up with:
