Father's Day Card with Sunday Stamps Sketch #362

The sketch at Sunday Stamps #362 this week appealed to me so I made a Father's Day Card while following the sketch.  The blue and green plaid paper is from Close to my Heart called "Celebrate Today" and the sentiment is from a very old CTMH wood stamp set with several sentiments. I used the scalloped square punch to highlight the sentiment. The background mat is Clover card stock.

Here is the fabulous Sunday Stamps sketch that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:

Crafty Gals Corner #268--Fill in the Blank Dad's.....

Neglected Stuff Challenge  (6/25)--Anything Goes (I haven't used the square punch in many, many years!)

      Crafty Calendar June--Add a Sentiment

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Shamrocks Card with Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #546

Next week is St. Patrick's Day and there are several family members that I want to remember with handmade greeting cards.  My cricut machine cut the pair of layered shamrocks (Celebrate with Flourish cartridge) which are featured within Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch #546. The background layer was created by swiping Clover Ink over the Lumen 3D folder (Simon Says Stamp) and running it through my Cuttlebug machine.  The shamrocks were cut from Clover Card Stock and then brushed with a Clear Shimmer Brush for a little bit more sparkle.  The sparkly gold strip and shamrock background layer is Gold Holographic Poster Board.  The yellow gingham paper is very old Close to my Heart Buttercup B & T and the flag is Mint Card Stock.

Here is the fabulous Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:
Double Trouble #105--Bring on the Green
