Using Pretty Wrapping Paper for Atlantic Hearts Sketch #296

On Christmas Eve I still needed a to make a few more Christmas cards and I came upon a great sketch from Atlantic Hearts which helped me create a handful of cards in a short time.  I had some scraps of metallic wrapping paper left and incorporated it into my cards.

This next card shows the reverse placement of paper elements.  Which card do you like better?

  2. How clever of you to use scraps of Christmas wrapping paper on your card. I prefer the 2nd card - I feel like the shimmery paper is framed (contained) by the red cardstock. Thanks for joining us at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
