Floral Card with Freshly Made Sketch #528

This is my first card featuring Julie Hickey's Friendship Flower Stamp Set and Die.  I colored the flowers with a Flamingo Shimmer Brush, Lemonade Shimmer Brush and Julep Shimmer Brush.  The grass from SU's Paradise Palms was stamped in Evergreen Ink onto Julep Card Stock. (I intentionally did not place a sentiment on this card so I could decide what sentiment to put on when I need to send this card.)

Here is the fabulous Freshly Made Sketch that inspired my card layout:

Thinking of You Card with Fusion Card Challenge Sketch

I love simple card sketches like the one from Fusion Card Challenge this week and was motivated to use this pretty patterned paper that has been in my stash for quite awhile.  The sentiment is from "Large Sentiments" from Card Making Magic.  It was stamped in Versamark and Pacifica inks and then embossed with Polysparkle Tinsel Embossing Powder.  The background layers are Pacifica Card Stock (retired Close to my Heart).

Here is the fabulous Fusion Card Challenge Graphic that inspired my card layout:

Pixie Sparkled Blooms for The Paper Players Challenge #583

Several weeks ago I created several card panels with Pixie Sparkle Powders and am starting to put them together into cards.  The challenge at The Paper Players inspired my stamp choice. The flowers started as a piece of photo paper sprinkled with Sunburst Pixie Sparkle Powder and sprayed with water.  When the piece air dried I stamped the bouquet from a retired Close to my Heart stamp set called "Cherish Her" with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and Clear Embossing Powder. (The sister greeting is also from that set.) I then used a green brush marker to color the leaves and stems.  The gingham paper is very old Crystal Blue B & T paper from Close to my Heart.  The bold Happy Birthday is from "Sweetest Birthday Wishes" stamped in Capri Ink.

Here is the sketch graphic from The Paper Players that inspired my card layout:

I’m also entering this card into the following challenges:

Simon Says Monday Challenge--Bright and Cheerful

Retro Rubber Challenge #178--Anything Goes with stamp                older than a year (Cherish Her was February 2020                        CTMH stamp of the month)

Make the Cards Dry Embossing Challenge with Try Stampin' on Tuesday #548

The Simon Says Stamp Floral Fields Embossing Folder was used to create these two bright and cheerful cards.  This embossed piece had been laying on my craft desk for quite awhile and I decided to use it as a last minute entry into Make the Cards Challenge #50 to use Dry Embossing Challenge.  A Sundance Shimmer Brush was used to color the flower centers with matching Sundance Card Stock panels.  Sapphire Glitter Paper created the accents.

Which card do you like better?

In this first card Honey Bee Bitty Buzzwords Dies were used for the greeting.

In this second card Sentiments by Melissa Esplin Celebrate stamp was stamped in Sapphire Ink.  The bow was die cut from CTMH retired "Party Balloons".

The above card was based on the new sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday:

Shamrocks Card with Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch #546

Next week is St. Patrick's Day and there are several family members that I want to remember with handmade greeting cards.  My cricut machine cut the pair of layered shamrocks (Celebrate with Flourish cartridge) which are featured within Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch #546. The background layer was created by swiping Clover Ink over the Lumen 3D folder (Simon Says Stamp) and running it through my Cuttlebug machine.  The shamrocks were cut from Clover Card Stock and then brushed with a Clear Shimmer Brush for a little bit more sparkle.  The sparkly gold strip and shamrock background layer is Gold Holographic Poster Board.  The yellow gingham paper is very old Close to my Heart Buttercup B & T and the flag is Mint Card Stock.

Here is the fabulous Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch that inspired my card layout:
