Atlantic Hearts Sketch #427 with Vintage Seafoam Victorian Paper

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a split background with lots of circles.  I pulled out a very old Close to my Heart patterned paper called Seafoam Victorian Paper, some stitched circle dies, a butterfly die from You Are Enough and a new die from Honey Bee to make this card.

I used the following Close to my Heart Products: Layered Butterfly Thin Cut Dies, (retiring June 30), Scalloped Circle Thin Cut Die, Seafoam Victorian Paper (long ago retired), and Black Card Stock.  The sentiment was cut with a Honey Bee Bitty Buzzwords die.

Here is our fabulous sketch.  We can't wait to see what you can create following our sketch.  Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, July 4 and you can link up your creation here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy love.

Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Sparkles Background for Tuesday Morning Sketch #611

Several days ago I had the opportunity to create backgrounds with Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Sparkles Powders, water and cardstock.  (This product is similar to Brushos powders but leaves a shimmer and some texture.) Today I finished a card using one of these panels as a background for a birthday card.

This next photo was taken from a different angle so you can see how sparkly this card is:

The focal die is an old Tonic die and the scalloped die is retired Close to My Heart.  The solid card stock colors are Sapphire and White Daisy.

Freshly Made Sketch #491 With You Are Enough Butterfly and Paper

You Are Enough is a special promotion from Close to My Heart that is retiring on June 30.  I've had many of these elements for months but am just now getting around to playing with them.  Freshly Made Sketch #491 was the inspiration for my card design.

The butterfly background was die cut from a select part (bottom right hand corner) of this paper pattern to use the rose gold foil part. The tiny sparkles were also cut from the rose gold part.  The Hello diecut was cut with a Honey Bee Set called "Bitty Buzzwords".

Here is the fabulous Freshly Made Sketch that inspired my card layout:

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #425 with Party Time Zip Strips

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch has lots of diagonal strips and a central focal element.  I used the zip strips from Party Time paper to create this birthday card.  Isn't it fun to use these colorful strips this way?  The background card stock is Lagoon and the sentiment was stamped in Sapphire Ink.

The heart was embossed with a retired Close to my Heart folder called Quilt.

Here is our fabulous sketch to spark your creativity!  We look forward to seeing what you can create and share with us here.  Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, June 20.
