Follow Your Art Featured in Fusion Crayon Challenge

Crayons or a sketch are the focus of this week's Fusion challenge. I liked the sketch and remembered that I had an old SU paper called "Follow Your Art" that would fit the theme.  To me the paper looks like it has a crayon scribbled background.

The coordinating color strips are Saffron, Sapphire and Poppy from Close to my Heart.  The sentiment panel is Ballerina and the greeting is from Card Captions which was stamped in Versamark ink and Sapphire ink and then embossed with Polysparkle Tinsel embossing powder which has a sparkle to it. (It was fun to use some of my older CTMH stash!)

Here is the fabulous Fusion Challenge graphic that inspired my card layout:

I'm also entering this card into the following challenges:

30th Birthday Card in Greens

A special young lady will turn 30 soon and I used the opportunity to create a card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #351. Her favorite color is green and this inspired my paper choices.

The greeting is actually quite sparkly.  First I inked the stamp in Versamark Ink and then Evergreen Ink.  Then I used a very old Close to My Heart Embossing Powder called "Polysparkle Tinsel" to create the sparkled image as you can see in this second picture.

Numbered Birthday Card With Tuesday Morning Sketch #530

A very special young man is celebrating his 39th birthday and I had to make him a very special card!  This week's Tuesday Morning Sketch #530 was perfect to highlight his special age.

The Sapphire circle and numbers were dipped in Versamark Ink and then into Polysparkle Tinsel Embossing Powder (very old Close to My Heart product) and embossed.  I love the shimmer it created.  The Party Balloons (retired from CTMH) greeting was also stamped in Versamark Ink and then Sapphire Ink and then embossed with Polysparkle Tinsel embossing powder.  The patterned paper is Hawthorn.

Here is the fabulous sketch that inspired my card design:
