Joyce's blog you are on the right track.
This month I was able to combine a couple of challenges with this card that I made for my son who is serving in the US Navy. This card is 5" x 6.5" to accomodate the size of the sailboat.
Close to My Heart products used:
White Daisy CS
Seaside Paper
Pacifica CS
Seaside Greetings stamp set
Pacific Ink (2nd generation for the sailboat, but 1st generation for greeting)
Other products:
Border punch by Fiskars
Here is the Atlantic Hearts Sketch that was the inspiration for my card layout:
This was a really fun sketch to work with. If you feel inspired to follow the sketch you can link up your creation here.
Other card challenge entries:
Cardz 4 Guys--sailing theme
Seize the Birthday
Now it's on to the next stop of the Joyful Stars blog hop. (If you get lost on the blog hop please go back to Joyce's blog for the complete list.) Please go visit Nancy Brown's blog. I'm sure she'll have something delightful to share with you.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Cool card for your son! Thank him for serving in the Navy!
Nice masculine card. I like the color combination.
Great masculine card! Love the touch of that little bit of border... almost like whitecaps on the water....
I had just pulled this stamp set for the 1st time too! The perfect card for the men in our lives. Beautiful. :)
