Until June 15 the challenge at the
Rose Blossom Garden is to make something using the Happy Father's Day key from the
Artiste cartridge (pg. 75). I chose a jagged edged cut (accent 4 shift at 1.25") and cut off one edge and alternated the placement of the jagged edges. The pretty patterned papers are Topiary B & T papers (retired CTMH). The vertical panel was stamped with
Keyboard Uppercase Alphabet in
Topiary Ink and
Hooray Bouquet flowers in
Buttercup and Topiary ink. This piece was matted over
Outdoor Denim CS. The final touch was the placement of
Durable Square Studs on each horizontal panel.
It was a very easy card to make! Come back tomorrow when I'll share a second card made for this challenge.
Have you checked out the latest Color My Heart Color Dare yet? Pick your own pink, orange and yellow and link it up by Thursday, June 13 at 9PM CST

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

Fabby job with the Rose Blossom challenge cards! I esp like the one with the square brads set on point, adorning the edges of the horizontal banners. Great reminder about Color My Heart, too!
Oh this is so creative, Marie! Not only do I like what you did with the key, but I love how you've used the Keyboard Alphabet! We so enjoy seeing what you create for the Rose Blossom Garden!
Love it! What a great use for this key. It is a great card. I love the stamping. Thank you for playing with us at Rose Blossom Garden.
What a fun way to use that cut Marie! I really like where you placed the dimensional studs. Wow, that paper looks familiar...I bought tons of it before I even thought about becoming a CTMH consultant. Thanks for playing along at the Rose Blossom Garden!
Yet another very clever take on our key challenge! You just inspired me to take out my Keyboard stamp set .... I won it at Regionals and have yet to ink it up ... thanks again for supporting us at the Rose Garden!
Hi Marie! Your use of the retired B&T paper made me smile! I have bunches of it hanging out in my craft room. I loved being able to get patterned paper in every color!! :) Love the checks and swirls!! I also love your card layout-- so versatile!! Thanks for the inspiration!
