Card #2 features 'Tis the Season paper with Seaglass card stock. (other elements the same)

Card #3 uses the reverse side of the papers from the 'Tis the Season paper pack

Which one do you like best?

Color Dare Twisted Tic Tac Toe Meets Tuesday Morning Sketch #470

My friend Laurie just celebrated a milestone birthday which warranted a special card.  My colors were inspired by the current Color My Heart Color Dare Twisted Tic Tac Toe Challenge--to use 3 or more of the newly retired colors.  This card uses Crystal Blue, Pacifica and Cranberry cardstocks along with White Glitter paper.  The Cranberry panel was stamped in White Daisy Ink (and then clear embossed with Versamark Ink) with the new stamp set Love Notes.  The Crystal Blue heart doily is from the retired Artiste Cricut cartridge.

Here is the Color My Heart Color Dare color palette that I chose from:

This Color Dare challenge goes until Thursday evening September 20 and you can substitute similar colors if you don't have the exact Close to My Heart named colors yet.  Why not give it a try?

Love Note for September Joyful Stars Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Joyful Stars Blog Hop! (The complete lineup is on Joyce's blog in case you get lost.) Have fun being inspired!

My favorite new stamp set from the recently released Close to My Heart Holiday  Expressions catalog is "Love Note".  It has several sentiments and this beautiful marble like background stamp.  It was stamped in the new color Sugarplum.  Although the other color looks black in this photo it is actually Charcoal.  Some white enamel dots accent the left side of the card.  The sentiment was stamped with Charcoal Pigment Ink and then clear embossed.

Here is the new stamp set used in my card:
