Get Well Card with Try a Sketch on Tuesday Sketch #642

The split diagonal sketch at Try a Sketch on Tuesday this week appealed to me so I made a Get Well card with it for a friend recovering from surgery.  The gold foil edged flowers were cut from a piece of Paper Studio paper and the greeting is from an old Stampin' Up stamp set called "Healing Hugs". The background papers are probably 20 years old or so from Close to my Heart called "Buttercup".   The center stripe is Wild Berry Shimmer Trim.

Here is the sketch that inspired my card layout:

I’m also entering this card into the following challenges:

      Aud Sentiments #311--Use Glitter/Bling

Dream Valley Challenge #311--Add Some Sparkle

      Allsorts Challenge #771--Add Yellow

      Aloha Friday #8--Pastel Colors

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

:) Marie
