The frame on my card was cut with the Artistry cartridge. There is a foam sandwich (also cut with the Cricut) between the layers with an acetate window so I could put in some gold foil stars. (from the May Happy Times paper special).

Nice card - I like that it can be used for a guy's birthday too.I never thought about cutting an extra layer of foam with the Cricut.
