Three Paneled Floral Birthday Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch # 631

Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a horizontal layout with 3 panels, a centered focal image with a sentiment banner.  My card making process started with looking through my stash for diagonally striped paper which was found in Close to my Heart's Chelsea Garden Paper Pack. Then I figured out the math for the paper sizes and mats. (4.1/4" x 5.5" card, mat layer of 4" x 51/4", 2 panels of 1.1/4" x 3 5/8", center panel of 2" x 3 5/8" mat and 1.75" x 3 3/8" panel) The floral image i "s from CTMH "Botanical Shadows" which I carefully inked with Honey Butter and Julep inks.  The sentiment is from CTMH "From Me to You" stamped in Mist ink.

Here is our fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout and for you to try.  Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, June 8 and you can link up your project here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love. Happy Times Get Well Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #629

Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a matted six sided frame with lower left embellishments and a greeting in the top right corner. I need another "speedy recovery card" for a friend undergoing surgery.  The paper is from an older Close to my Heart paper pack called "Happy Times" and "Kiss it Better" stamp set also from Close to My Heart.  The embellishments were cut from the paper, outlined in grey marker, popped up and covered with Glossy Accents.  The ink is Lisa Horton's Pumpkin Metallic Ink.
