Bridal Shower Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #595

Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a horizontal layout with a round element, embellishments behind it and a sentiment strip.  I needed to make a bridal shower card so I chose a very old SU stamp from "Send a Sentiment", old Amethyst Close to my Heart paper, older markers and die from SU Cheerful Daisies set.  A light purple metallic mat was placed behind the sentiment from Simon Says Stamp "Put Your Party Hats On".

This second photo was taken from a different angle so you can see the pretty light purple metallic mat from Recollections.

Here is our fabulous sketch that inspired my card layout and for you to try.  Our challenge is open until Sunday evening, September 22 and you can link up your project here.  We look forward to visiting your blogs and leaving some bloggy comment love. Please stop by our blog on Wednesday to see what the rest of the talented Design Team has to inspire you.

I’m also entering this card into the following challenges:

      Cut Above Die--September--optional Monochromatic

      Creative Crafters #80--Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful week filled with fun and creativity!

:) Marie

Hello Cards with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #593

Welcome back to another Atlantic HeartsSketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a striped background panel with a smaller vellum overlay with 2 tags and a sentiment strip.  I went through my paper stash and found this pretty striped paper from Close to my Heart called "Little Dreamer".  Then I pulled out coordinating cardstocks to come up with several cards. The bows were created with a Scrapbook.com die from the "Bow Toppers" collection.

This card uses the reverse side of the striped paper:
