Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #449--Another Deck the Palms Card

Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a rectangular central element with a vertical stripe behind it.  I've been having so much fun playing with Close to my Heart's Deck the Palms promotion and just had to use it to make this challenge card. Deck the Palms Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #448

 Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features a grid with squares and opposite sentiment rectangles.  Pretty fun!  This was easy to do with a Multi Square Window Thin Cut Die by Close to my Heart and Deck the Palms Patterned Paper and Deck the Palms Coordinating Card Stock. The sentiment was cut from Honey Bee Buzzworthy Dies.

Golf Themed Card with Freshly Made Sketch #512

Besides paper crafting, golf is a passion of mine.  I've combined both of them in this card using Freshly Made Sketch #512.

Deck the Palms Birthday Card with Sunday Stamps Sketch #270

 A dear friend has a love affair with the color pink so I made her this lovely card using a paper from a new promotion from Close to my Heart called "Deck the Palms".  The bottom layer is Flamingo Card Stock and the mat behind the palm tree themed paper is Clover.

The greeting is from Honey Bee Buzzworthy Dies cut from Antique Gold Shimmer Paper matted with more Deck the Palms paper.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #447

 Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  This week our sketch features several vertical elements with a central round element with several embellishments.  My card was made for a lovely young lady who loves butterflies and sparkly things.  Don't you love the shimmery Capri Glitter Paper used to cut the butterflies and small dots?  The cheerful sentiment is from "Rustic Sign Sentiments".

Freshly Made Sketch #511

I'm combining some older paper (SU Beyond the Garden) and newer papers (Close to My Heart Capri Card Stock and Capri Glitter Paper) to create a card with Freshly Made Sketch #511. The rectangles were cut with Stitched Rectangle Frames.  The greeting is from Inkadinkadoo with Mermaid Lagoon Ink and the dragonfly accent is from CTMH For My Beautiful Friend.

When I cut the Rectangle Frames I had two extra pieces (the reverse of what is in the top card) so I made an extra card adding CTMH Thanks Thin Cut Die.

Punny Card with Atlantic Hearts Sketch #443

 Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog post!  Our sketch this week features three rectangular elements and a vertical sentiment.  I chose some bright and cheery colors and a fun stamp and sentiment available to Close to My Heart Makers called "Cows it Going?"

Anniversary Card Inspired by Try Stampin' on Tuesday #527

 Our friends celebrated an anniversary yesterday and I made them a card to commemorate the special day.  I really liked the flourishes in the current Try Stampin' on Tuesday sketch and decided to fussy cut "Every Little Thing" paper and pop it up on my card.  There already was a gold embossed Happy Anniversary sentiment in my extras box so I cut it with an stitched oval and backed it with a bigger stitched oval cut from scraps of gold holographic poster board. The background paper is Mint.

Floral Borders Birthday Card for Atlantic Hearts Sketch #422

 Welcome back to another Atlantic Hearts Sketch challenge blog post!  This week our sketch offers a center panel with sentiment and vertical side strips.  I used an older Close to my Heart stamp set called Floral Borders which I colored with gel pens, a Tonic Happy Birthday Die and some gold holographic poster board scraps to make this lovely card.

A second photo of this card shows off the shimmery gel pen effects better.
